Solid teak wood / natural full-grain premium aniline nappa leather, open-pored, easy-care and yet "glove-soft"!
The leather is originally grown - strong, firm, hard-wearing and yet soft and supple. Unique in the pattern of pores, grain and surface structure - high durability and lasting value. It is one of the most expensive leathers!

Please do not compare this leather with artificially grained leather. In the case of artificially grained leather, the lower layers of the animal skin (split leather) are pressed through heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface that is modeled on the natural leather grain and thus create an artificial grain (embossing) of the original smooth leather through pressure and heat. This artificially grained leather is very often used for leather furniture, which is offered on eBay, Amazon & Co and in upholstered furniture stores at so-called bargain prices, producer prices, direct purchase prices etc. (often Chinese goods) or for branded furniture in the lower and medium price segment. This does not mean high quality, it is by no means a seal of quality, it only means that it is not artificial leather!
Incidentally, the leather is characterized by quite a high degree of wear and tear, with normal use the grain disappears after a while. It also feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the high paint application. The difference in quality can also be seen in the price; it only costs around 1/3 of the price of high-quality leather at the tanneries, as it is actually a reject or third-choice product in the conventional sense.

cognac / teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances)
Info! The photos are high exposed, so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones.
For connoisseurs: as with velvet, areas of the cow's skin or folds of movement drawn against the grain appear as slight shadows or elongated "lines" depending on the viewing angle. In nature, this effect is hardly noticeable due to the 3D vision of human eyes.
