Original swivel chair (black) by Arne Jacobsen, designed for Fritz Hansen, made in Denmark.
The chair is in original condition with the original Fritz Hansen label (Made in Denmark) and dates from the early 1960s.
The seat shell is painted black and shows an authentic, age-related patina.
The chrome swivel base with original casters is fully functional and in good condition.
No restorations or subsequent alterations.
This version with casters is significantly rarer than the classic four-legged models and is particularly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian mid-century design.
