Set consisting of six Vitra Eames EA 107 chairs (non-rotating), in white (netweave) and a segmented dining table.
The chairs were designed by Ray & Charles Eames in 1953. The frame and armrests are made of cast aluminum and have a chrome finish. Dimensions, H/W/D: 83 cm / 58 cm / 58 cm. Seat height: 47 cm. The chairs are vintage (probably 1980s) and were refurbished and reupholstered with the original Vitra netweave in 2011 by Classicdesign.nl. The chairs are still in very good condition, but there are slight signs of wear visible in the upholstery. The threads of the netweave have worn off slightly (see the last photo). In addition, the chrome is less shiny than on new chairs; we bought these as is.
Vitra Eames Segmented Dining Table. In 1964, Charles and Ray Eames developed a system of basic elements that allowed for many different table sizes and shapes, resulting in the elegant Eames Segmented Tables. This Vitra Eames Segmented was used by us as a dining table, but can also be used as a conference table.
The table has a very sturdy polished frame with black uprights and chrome feet. The original tabletop is made of white high-pressure laminate (HPL) and finished with a black edge. The table is as good as new with no signs of wear. We purchased it new in 2011. The table offers space for 6-8 people. Dimensions: 213 x 108 x 72 cm (L x W x H).
