This original vintage sideboard from the 1960s is a stylish example of East German furniture design from the post-war modern era. It was made using high-quality craftsmanship and was originally part of a living room suite.
The body is made of oak, beech and spruce, the surfaces are finished with oak veneer and individual elements have been stained dark, giving the furniture a calm yet striking appearance.
Two double doors on the left and right conceal generous storage space, each divided by a shelf. In the middle are three beautifully shaped drawers with simple brass handles. Two matching keys are included in the original.
With its harmonious proportions and combination of functionality and period design, this piece of furniture is an authentic piece of design history - rarely preserved in this condition.
