Very rare modernist rocking chair by Takeshi Nii [1920-2007] - Japan - 1955 - Magnificent minimalist modernist design. The mechanism allows the chair to be folded onto its aluminum frame. Very good condition considering its great age, with slight spots of oxidation that affect neither its beauty nor its use. Perfectly functional. Stitched black leather upholstery. The aluminum and metal frame and glides are solid wood. The armrests are navy blue PVC.
