This original highboard consists of two components and is of high quality. The outer surfaces are finished with Makoré (African pear tree) and the fronts with Michaelcard (furniture film with a lacquer polishing process). The handles are made of Messing. Two keys are included.
The lower furniture element consists of two swing doors and a folding compartment. A gold trim is installed horizontally.
The upper element has a large Display cabinets with two sliding Glass doors and gold trim. The back wall is preserved in the original color white. The Display cabinets includes two Glass shelves that are height-adjustable. Behind the left swing door there is a storage space that is divided by two Glass shelves.
Little history:
This living room cupboard with the model name “400 S” was born in the 1960s. The producer was the furniture factory Emil Arzt KG from Zeulenroda in Thuringia.

The lower element ends at a height of 54 cm.Condition:
The piece of furniture is basically stable, functional and in good condition due to its age. There are signs of wear, including on the gold trim and the glass plates.
Processing:
Light restoration work was carried out. We clean and treat the wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in conjunction with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
