Beautiful example of practical 1970s design: the Conelight QC Twin Spotlight floor lamp pairs clean, architectural lines with two fully adjustable spotlight heads — each independently switchable — so you can direct light exactly where you need it. The lamp sits on a compact square base with a slim central stem and two pivoting cylindrical heads that can be moved up and down the column and rotated to aim. 
This lamp is finished in warm brown (a popular variant alongside silver/metal finishes) — a gorgeous fit for mid-century, industrial or contemporary interiors that benefit from focused task-lighting or layered ambient light. The twin-head design makes it equally useful as a reading lamp next to a sofa or as accent lighting in a studio or gallery setting.

Conelight (often written ConeLight Limited) was a UK lighting manufacturer active in the mid–20th century and is the maker most often associated with this model. The QC Twin Spotlight is usually attributed to designer Ronald Homes (sometimes spelled Holmes in older records and exhibition catalogues), who collaborated with Conelight on several adaptable lighting designs in the 1960s–70s. Original Conelight pieces are sought after today for their utilitarian engineering, easily adjustable hardware, and clear mid-century aesthetic.
