Exceptional find! Stylish & original Eames lounge chair & ottoman. A beautiful and very rare combination : Brazilian rosewood with taupe leather. This color was not a standard offering within the collection, but a limited availability option. American edition with the slim base/feet. Produced in the 1970s in the USA and still 100% original. Collector item! Produced between 1971 and 1974 by Herman Miller USA. This is probably the most famous design chair ever, the famous lounge chair with ottoman designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Mobilier International France for Herman Miller, United States 1956. When the set was introduced in 1956, there was nothing like it, and there is still nothing to equal it. The Eameses’ modern take on a nineteenth century club chair has not only endured for more than 50 years, it has become one of the most significant furniture designs of the twentieth century, instantly recognizable and enduringly fresh. Condition : This matching set is in an overall very good and original condition. The wood has a stunning patina with minimal discoloration, and the leather exhibits normal signs of use but remains in beautiful condition. Dimensions: W 83,2 x D 83,2 x H 80 cm
