Beautiful design classic dining room set by Walter Antonis (chairs) and Claire Bataille & Paul Ibens (table) for furniture maker 't Spectrum (late 1960s, early 1970s).
Te23 Dining Room Table
This table is a sought-after design classic by Antwerp-based designers and architects Claire Bataille & Paul Ibens. It was in production for only a few years in the early 1970s at the Dutch furniture manufacturer 't Spectrum.
The black grained ash veneer top sits tightly in a chromed metal frame, with beautiful minimalist details. The table is in good original condition, with signs of use befitting its age.
Dimensions: W: 90 cm | H: 70 cm | L: 142 cm
Se09 Chairs dining room
A beautiful vintage set of four tubular frame chairs designed by Walter Antonis (of, among others, the SZ 14 armchair) for 't Spectrum. The chairs have a one-piece tubular steel frame with a nickel chrome finish. The frame extends over the backrest, with the backrest wedged in. Chairs still have all original nylon protective caps under the tubular frame.
Chairs are ready for use, but deserve some restoration. The original black rib-like upholstery and padding is still intact, but a reupholstery will make the chairs even more comfortable to sit in. The tubes are also still intact but the chrome work is weathered at the bottom in a few small spots and two larger spots.
Dimensions: W: 50 cm | H: 76 cm | D: 40 cm | Seat H: 46
The set is preferably sold as a whole.

The lacquer of the table is somewhat worn in some areas. Use marks appropriate to its age.
The chrome on the tubes of the chairs is worn away in a few places (at the bottom), but generally still intact. Also the upholstery has some wear spots but generally still intact.
