Suzy Stool folding stool, by Adrian Reed, 1984 This surprisingly clever folding stool dates back to 1984.
The "Suzy Stool" was designed by Adrian Reed for London's Princes Design Works.
He was clearly inspired by the famous TS chair designed by Roger Tallon and published by Sensou in the 1970s.
This stool is not lacking in ingenuity.
Everything about the minimalist design has been thought through in terms of functionality and design.
It opens and closes in an instant. It offers unfailing stability and sturdiness.
When folded, it is extra flat, with a hole in the seat for hanging and vertical storage.
Its attractive design makes it ideal as a nightstand or small side table.
