I would reupholster the sofa. That's worth it. Internationally they do 6 -7,000 euros
I would have liked to upholster the sofa myself, but I don't have time. The sofa has no further signs of wear, except that the upholstery has of course become a bit grubby over time. See the last photo for this
Use it to your advantage !Of course, the fabric is no longer completely clean and dirty after 40 years. but no burn holes etc.
