Vintage teak wall cabinet / wall system from the Danish designer Poul Cadovius. The cabinet is part of the KLM series (Royal Dutch Furniture Factory) from the 1960s. The cabinet consists of 2 parts and is therefore easy to transport.
Poul Cadovius (27 September 1911 - March 2011) was a Danish furniture designer and manufacturer. In 1945 he founded the furniture production company Royal System, which had factories in Denmark and its own departments and licensed factories abroad. He was a designer of Royal System, System Ultra, System Cado, system abstracta and Cadomus, among others. In the Netherlands, Meubelfabriek Deco (Varsseveld) had the license to manufacture the Royal System wall racks. As a furniture designer, he was one of the first to work with plastics. He also designed the shell-shaped bus shelters.
Dimensions: 84 cm wide x 40 cm deep at the lower cabinet and 24 cm deep at the upper cabinet. The height is 160 cm. Drawers are 38 x 11 cm. The square compartment is 36 x 40 cm.
