The "Polaris" armchair designed by Pierre Guariche and manufactured by Meurop in Belgium embodies the avant-garde design of the 60s. Introduced in 1967 alongside the "Luna" model, this piece of furniture is part of the Starlook-Ultralight series, inspired by the futuristic aesthetics of the space age. Its soft, round curves are created by an innovative process, featuring a metal core surrounded by polyurethane, then covered with polyether foam and finished in nylon velvet, imitation leather or fabric. The metal base is elegantly clad in a plastic shell. The "Polaris" model we offer is upholstered in its original orange fabric, in excellent condition with minor age-related wear. With a seat height of 45 cm, this armchair combines comfort and style in a room with a contemporary design.
