The Ara Lamp was designed in 1988 by Philippe Starck, named after his daughter "Ara Starck. The lamp is manufactured by Flos, Italy. In addition to its striking shape, the lamp has a very special, functional detail in the form of a hidden switch. The switch is the lamp head itself. The on/off switch is integrated into the lamp; when the lamp head points up, the lamp is turned off; when it points down, the lamp is turned on.
The original adapter is included, which is very rare and works perfectly.
