The Panama lamp is an iconic Dutch design piece produced for Gispen in the 1950s. The Panama lamp was designed by Wim Rietveld, the son of the famous architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld.
The Panama lamp series, officially known by the Gispen model number 4050 (wall lamp), was designed between 1955 and 1957. The lamp owes its name to the shape of the shade, which is reminiscent of a Panama hat. Key Features:

Adjustability: The wall and desk lamps are highly flexible and adjustable using hinges and a characteristic red wrench attached to the wall plate.
