A pair of modernist candlesticks in solid brass, with a striking geometric design. Each candlestick rests on a thick hexagonal base, from which rises a slender central stem, extended by two angled arms forming a Y shape. The conical cups, with their narrow necks, hold three candles each.
The entire set is crafted from intentionally unpolished, gilded brass, retaining its original patina and traces of green oxidation visible in the candle holders. Likely originating from liturgical or ecclesiastical use in Southern Europe (Italy or Spain), these candlesticks show signs of wear, some oxidation, and a slight deformation on one of the cups, without affecting their stability or appearance. ________________________________________
