Pair of Scandinavian solid gold-plated brass candlesticks in organic Ytterberg shapes for BCA Eskilstuna. Excellent condition with patina and minor wear, small difference in tone between the two pieces (see photo). Candle base diameter: 2 cm / 0.8 In. Signed under the base. Circa : 1960 suede Height : 21 cm / 8.2 In. Width : 7 cm / 2.8 In. Depth : 6 cm / 2.4 In. Weight : 1.5 KG REF : NTR2251224 In the 1960s, BCA Eskilstuna, renowned for its expertise in steel work, broadened its horizons by collaborating with Swedish designer K. E. Ytterberg. These refined pieces, both functional and decorative, quickly became emblematic of Swedish design, illustrating BCA's ability to combine traditional craftsmanship with aesthetic innovation.
