This teak display cabinet from the 1960s is a beautiful example of Danish modern design. Designed by Omann Jun for his eponymous furniture workshop, it combines craftsmanship, proportion, and the use of materials in a tranquil and timeless design.
The body is made entirely of teak and elegantly mitered, creating a refined and strong construction. The slender glass door hangs on original gold-colored brass hardware. The handle is concealed in the frame, a subtle detail that contributes to the minimalist character. Behind the door are three original shelves, height-adjustable with the original brass brackets. The base is slightly recessed from the cabinet, giving the whole a light and balanced appearance.
The cabinet has been professionally and carefully renovated in our workshop. Old layers of maintenance have been removed, the wood has been hand-sanded, and then treated and preserved with a high-quality matte furniture oil. The cabinet is in excellent condition and is ready for immediate use. Upon purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions and matching furniture oil to keep the furniture in top condition.
