Oak and Teak Chest of Drawers by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Söner, Sweden, Øresund Series, 1958 An elegant chest of drawers from the Øresund Series, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958 for Karl Andersson & Söner. Executed in oak veneer with beautiful teak fronted drawers, the design showcases Mogensen’s refined functionalism with clean lines, harmonious proportions, and exceptional craftsmanship. This example comes with my favourite solid oak feet design with metal support rods. The warm oak grain emphasises the timeless Scandinavian character of the piece, making it a versatile addition to both modern and traditional interiors.

The chest of drawers is in good original condition, please view all images to see all repaired damages. We have chosen to restore this piece while trying to keep as much as original as possible. So there are a few small veneer repairs where pieces were chipped or missing in the top and sides of the drawer. One solid teak handle has a small chip. Fully refinished and restored. Marked 'made in sweden'
