Napoleon III-style mirror in repoussé brass. In the center, a rectangular mercury mirror as on the bezels, above a lovely pediment filled with scrolls, flowers and shells, we find the same scrolls all around the frame and acanthus flowers at each corner of the bezels. On the back, it has been covered with a wooden plaque and a newspaper with the date 1836, which shows that this mirror is indeed from the 19th century. There is also a rope to hang it on a wall. This mirror is in its original condition, with several traces of wear on the glass and frame, but it remains a beautiful and highly decorative vintage item.
