One of the icons of Polish mid-century design, a pair of armchairs, designed by Edmund Homa—Polish architect, industrial and interior design designer, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
The set has been manufactured by Goscicinska Furniture Factory in Poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beech wood in a warm color, finished with a semi-matte varnish. The upholstery is made of high-quality linen-cotton fabric in beige color.
The set has been professionally restored—both wood and upholstery. The wood has been polished and refinished, and new upholstery foams have been used. The upholstery was hand-sewn.
