Abcoude, NetherlandsView all items from this sellerThis mid century valve cabinet / secretaire from the 1960s is truly unique with its rounded corners. Lovingly and expertly made by a carpenter: here and there the pencil lines for the custom work can still be seen. Wood type: teak; flat parts are veneered. The cabinet is in original and good vintage condition, with some signs of wear here and there. In photo 9 a small chip is missing in the veneer.
Height, 112 cm, width 95 cm, depth 34 cm. Depth with opened flap: 67 cm.
The cupboard can be used as a low wall cupboard, but of course also as a writing table when the flap is open: behind the flap there is a cupboard compartment containing a (removable) mail sorting compartment - and an original mirror (in which it is placed again). The lid can be locked, but the original key is missing. One of the folding bars is broken, but it still functions fine. The rod is included (see last photo).
Under the flap there are two narrow drawers and an open compartment.
Below this there are two French doors, which can be closed and provide plenty of storage space. The lock fittings of these doors are missing.
The cabinet can only be picked up.
