The lighting is created using automotive technology, similar to that of car headlights. Starglass is available in transparent or semi-mirrored glass and offers a wide range of light distribution. Designed by Paolo Rizzatto, 2005. The lamp was purchased at Hazewindus Lampen in Amsterdam at the end of 2008 for €594. It has always hung above the dining table, except for the 3.5 years we lived abroad. Now that we are moving to another house, we are ready for a new lamp. Although we are still very happy with this lamp.
The inside is half mirrored but parts are worn away (I don't know why)See Description.
