Vintage Italian ceramic vase, circa 1958–1970, bearing a model number on the base followed by "Italy".
The central cloisonné enamel decoration depicts a stylized horse in a vibrant red and blue palette, surrounded by a textured rim reminiscent of fat lava. A sculptural form and decorative piece typical of Italian modernist ceramics, in the style of Pugi and Florentine workshops of the 1960s.
Unsigned but marked and most likely attributed to Pugi, this piece is highly decorative and sought after in vintage decor.
