Super Near New Condition No Scratches on the Copper Frame
It was in the Drôme region of France that the three brothers Alfred, Victor and Gabriel Lafuma created their eponymous brand in 1930.
The story began with the metal-framed backpack, the companion of the first French explorers in search of adventure and discovery.
Then came the advent of the "seventh day", which brought campers and dapper flâneurs to the roads of France. The brand expanded during the "30 glorieuses", with the rise of paid vacations and the democratization of the automobile. Our metal and textile nomad furniture quickly became the ideal vacation companion. In fact, at the time, the specifications stipulated that the stool or recliner had to "fit in the boot of a Dauphine".
And so, from the historic "little folders" to the Pop Up with its spindle-shaped folding, numerous models combine comfort, style and quality to perfection.
Even today, our design teams continue their constant quest for functional furniture: practical, stackable, easily dismantled or repaired.
