Noble design classic, as a high-back chair - still produced by the original, legendary manufacturer Alfred Kill (Kill International), who had the 1967 design realized extremely elaborately and with a great deal of masterly craftsmanship in the spirit of the congenial Danish designer duo Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm.
For example, the legendary, hand-worked leather seams from the "Kill era" remain something very special! (see detailed photos)

- The upholstered leather cover, which is simply pulled over the shell like a thick coat, gently hugs the soft curves of the unique shape.

Manufacturer:
Unfortunately, very few facts can be found about the German furniture manufacturer Alfred Kill and his legendary company Kill International. It was founded by Alfred Kill in the middle of the last century.
However, the highest standards of material, workmanship and design and the unconditionally successful collaboration with renowned designers of his time secured him a well-deserved place in design history!
The FK-6725 armchair has long been a coveted seating furniture icon and is now produced by the license successor Walter Knoll, which took over the company in the 1990s and is one of the leading international manufacturers of high-quality upholstered furniture.
Designer:
The Danish designers Preben Fabricius (1931-1984) and Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) met in the 1950s while studying at the School of Interior Design in Copenhagen. Both had previously trained as craftsmen. (Fabricius as a cabinetmaker, Kastholm as a blacksmith)
In 1961, they founded a design studio together. Many of their designs and works have received awards and prizes and are exhibited in museums and design centers around the world, including the MoMA in New York and the Louvre in Paris.
