Title "Time Goes So Fast",
Iris Hartman (1958)
It always starts with an image that starts to form after I've read or seen something and which then gradually starts to translate into shape and color.
My work can be called landscape abstract and it often consists of combinations of clean lines/objects in an alienating landscape.
The linear forms in combination with colors and the layering of the paint in a painting are combinations that always manage to fascinate me.
The intention is not to present the viewer with a ready-made image, there must be enough space to allow him or her to determine his or her own feelings.
