Product description
A unique find: six hammered handkerchief rings by the renowned goldsmith Hermann Bauer from Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Made circa 1920-1930. Diameter 1.9 cm. Silver hallmark 835 and maker's mark Hermann Bauer. Weight: 2.54 g each. The rings come in a gift box. Hermann Bauer was born in 1833 in Heilbronn, Germany. In 1863, he founded his own silverware factory in Schwäbisch Gmünd. At the beginning of his career as a silversmith, he gained fame primarily for his Renaissance jewelry, which was even worn by Queen Olga of Württemberg and soon earned him the nickname "Renaissance Bauer." The company is still in operation today and has established an international reputation in the Swabian silversmithing scene. They still stand for quality with a long tradition and masterful jewelry craftsmanship using high-quality silver and timeless design. **Shipping is insured and includes a tracking number.** **Customs fees that may apply outside of Europe are the responsibility of the buyer.**
