Hand-worked lace doily, 50 cm in diameter. 1940s, Italy. Crafting technique: knitted, specifically lace knitting. Very elaborate design with a central star and external almond motifs. White. Diameter: 50 cm. In perfect condition, the doily is the result of a high-quality family tradition and was part of the prized trousseau of a noble family.
