1955 umbrella stand by industrial designer Willem Hendrik Gispen (1890-1981). Type number 1018 Y. Dimensions 65 cm wide, 20 cm deep and 55 cm high. The chrome frame shows some scratches here and there, traces of age. The removable tray has the original deep dark blue paint. The brown stains on it make this piece of furniture vintage.
The inside of the bin shows signs of use: the tips of the umbrellas once placed in it have damaged or removed the paint here and there.
