The Perch Stool was designed by American designer and architect George Nelson, who designed the diminutive stool in 1964. The height of the standpipe can be adjusted by means of a spindle, which means that the furniture can be used both as a high chair and as a standing aid for a high desk. The backrest also serves as an armrest. M1584
