Fritz halogen table/desk lamp designed by Santiago Miranda and Perry King for Arteluce in 1987. The design features beautiful style shapes and features of the Memphis Milano style from the 1980s.
This type of desk lamp is made in two variants, with a blue and green cap. The lamp consists of a black high-gloss lacquered round base with an on/off switch, and two chromed metal uprights with a cap of white plastic and clear translucent green perspex. The white cap can be adjusted.
The lamp has an external 220 to 12 volt transformer and can be the switch on the foot gives 50% and 100% light.
The lamp is in a beautiful vintage condition, some small scratches and spots associated with age and use, see photos.
