Agency William Watting for Frishto. Willam Watting (an American architect who lived and worked in Denmark) designed this beautiful desk for Fristho Franeker in the 1950s. It is beautifully executed in walnut. The top of this desk is elegantly shaped and the edge is slightly slanted. The legs of this walnut desk with mid-century modern Scandinavian design are slightly tapered. On the right is a small closet with a door. On the left side there are two drawers, with the same round handles. This elegant desk is a very fine example of Danish Design that fits very well in the Dutch modern tradition of Fristho. Dimensions: 170x80x75The blade is used, of course. Actually, it is in very good condition for its life, about 70 years old.
