For the true lover of vintage design: a rare and iconic Dijkstra wall lamp from the 1970s. This high-quality Dutch product is an absolute gem for a Space Age or Mid-Century modern interior.
Unique Design & Lighting
This lamp is distinguished by its beautiful spherical plexiglass shade in a stylish smoked gray shade.
What makes this piece extra special is the decorative reflector inside. It has a beautiful, woven structure reminiscent of bamboo or rattan (the so-called 'wicker look'). This creates an incredibly diffuse and warm light effect; it refracts the light organically, giving the lamp a unique ambiance not found in modern lamps.
Construction
The lamp is mounted in a robust chrome gimbal, allowing the sphere to be fully tiltable and rotatable. The sleek, high-gloss chrome wall arm gives the whole a luxurious and architectural look. Unlike common floor lamps, this wall version is much harder to find. Specifications:

Material: Smoked glass (plexiglass), high-quality chrome, and aluminum wicker reflector.
Condition: In very neat vintage condition. The chrome shines beautifully. As is typical for a 50-year-old object, there are some light scratches visible on the plexiglass here and there, but these do not detract from the overall appearance. Fitting: E27 (suitable for LED)
