Product description
A beautifully detailed sculpture of a seated woman in Renaissance attire. She holds a lute or mandolin. Beside her, two graceful dogs, possibly borzois (Russian wolfhounds), rest lovingly against her. The serene expression and refined drapery suggest a romanticized, aristocratic scene—common in European art from the late 19th to the early 20th century.
Artist/designer: ANTONIO BANCHELLI. Signed "Banchelli". Period: 1920s
