Rare "Fliegenbein" floor lamp, model 2116, by Julius T.Kalmar, Austria, 1960's.
Its yoke is in steel, with a woven wicker shade. It is in excellent, functional condition with no defects.
Julius Theodor Kalmar is an Austrian designer renowned internationally for his modernist lighting. He studied at the Birmingham School of Art and Vienna's University of Applied Arts under the tutelage of Viennese Secession architect Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956).
