Archibald Dining Chair
Design: Jean-Marie Massaud (2019)
Leather color: Cemento 129376
The leather version is finished with contrasting stitching along the edges and on the outer surfaces of the upholstery.
The swivel version is equipped with a "return" mechanism that enables 360° rotation and automatically returns the seat to its original position.
Dimensions: W 65 × D 57 × H 76 cm . Armrest height 66 cm, seat height 49 cm.
Structure of back and armrests: rigid compression-molded polyurethane.
Upholstery: Soft compression-molded polyurethane and polyester wadding.
Seat frame: Birch plywood with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding upholstery.
Seat frame and legs: solid ash wood, stained in the color of the dark, coffee-brown to black-brown wood of the tropical wenge. The feet are fitted with felt glides (6 mm).
As they come from a set and are numbered, the chairs are easy to identify (see photos of the labels). The chairs are in very good condition and show only minimal signs of wear. The only exception is chair 0001 (photo no. 3), which has three small "holes" on the back of the seam of the backrest (cause unknown). There are other conspicuous features. All four chairs show small dents in the wood on the front legs, which could be caused by footwear. The paint, i.e. the stain, is not damaged.
