Austrian Josef Hoffman designed these chairs in the 1920s for Thonet. These 2 chairs were produced in the 1970s/80s by FMG (former Thonet factory in Poland nationalized after WWII). They were sold in the Bijenkorf, among other places.
This timeless design fits seamlessly into many interior styles, from Japandi and Scandinavian to Bauhaus and classic.
The webbing of the backrests and 1 seat is in fine condition, one seat has one minute damage, shown in the last photo. This has no effect on the seating comfort. The lacquer on the rattan parts shows some light wear here and there, appropriate to its age and use.
