Description:
Modular frame with spherically shaped armrest modules made of solid, dark reddish-brown, partly almost black teak wood, which runs through the surface as if painted; seat and backrest have high-quality spring core upholstery and form a unit that becomes a reclining surface through a swivel and tilting movement; new cover with fine lap seams according to the original pattern (with this type of seam, the individual parts of the cover interlock as with finger hooking and are then double stitched. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than the usual single/standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700g/rm) premium upholstery material with a very beautiful, striking woven look was chosen here, in which duotones bring out the woven structure even better. This textured upholstery fabric is easy to care for, hard-wearing and has also been treated with stain protection. It is characterized by a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 abrasion cycles and is therefore twice as durable as upholstery materials used for public facilities with very heavy use. The photos are high exposed, so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

Condition:
Brilliant! This lounge sofa is so good, it is indistinguishable from a new one (if there was such a thing), if at all. It has been lovingly restored by the restorer using traditional and natural materials. The teak frame is "as good as new", the usual scratches and imperfections are of course nowhere to be found. Everything else is also new or looks like new. Simply superb!

TRANSPORT:
We have found that transportation by Whoppah courier is sometimes considerably (100-150%) higher than the market price of the usual removal companies and furniture couriers! We can organize a cheaper transport within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighbouring German countries or an EU transport for you if necessary. Inexpensive non-EU transportation by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
