This lovely pitcher set is from village in Transylvania known for its hand painted, handmade pottery. The small village is Korond (Hungarian) or Corund (Romanian), and their pottery making goes back to the 1600s. While the village is in Romania, it is actually mostly inhabited by Ethnic Hungarians. Height: 16.5cm and 10cm Handpainted pitchers with flower&bird motifs. In nice vintage condition🙂 Glaze abrasion. Bring a splash of hungarian folk art to your home!
