Very rare seating area in Brutalist style, consisting of a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a matching coffee table.
What makes this unique is that the furniture was purchased new as a set around 1970 by the current owners. Since then, the furniture underwent only one move within a non-smoking household. Now—after having stood in the same house for 40 years—the furniture is ready to go to the next enthusiast.
These are pieces that are rarely, if ever, found in this configuration, style, and condition. Naturally, there are signs of wear and tear visible here and there, but the furniture can be used immediately.
Originally, the sofa and chairs were upholstered in dark brown leather, but the filling and upholstery were replaced at some point. Incidentally, the furniture is just as heavy as it looks: it is of old-fashioned, solid quality. The tabletop, in particular, benefits from a wood treatment.
The seating area can be picked up as a whole in Brabant, a province in the South of the Netherlands.
