With their sculptural shell-shaped silhouette and impressive high backs, these swivel lounge chairs embody the elegance of Scandinavian Modern design. This pair of lounge chairs was produced by UP Závody Rousínov in former Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. Featuring a distinctive high-back design, curved shell construction, and swivel aluminum bases, the chairs reflect the innovative furniture design of the era. Similar examples have been attributed to UP Závody Rousínov, making them a noteworthy example of Czechoslovak modernism. The chairs are upholstered in leather and supported by aluminum swivel bases.
