A beautiful mid-century French art pottery piece: a sculptural, pipe-shaped ashtray made by the renowned manufacturer Moulin’s. Crafted in traditional "Grès Flammé" stoneware, a high-temperature firing technique ("Grand Feu") known for its exceptional resistance and dynamic, organic glazing.
The decoration features rich, earthy tones ranging from warm brown to deep cobalt blue, making each piece entirely unique.
While originally designed as a pipe ashtray, its stylized form makes it an excellent decorative object, ideal to be repurposed as a small planter for succulents, a trinket dish, or an accent piece in modernist, brutalist, or rustic-chic interiors.
