Over deze verkoper

This is a vintage convertible high chair, crafted from wood. Its design is a notable example of mid-century functionalism, offering a clever two-in-one solution for a growing child.
The piece is constructed primarily from wood with a natural finish, showcasing a warm, light brown tone. It features a spindle back, a curved tray, and metal-rimmed wheels for mobility. A key feature is its ability to transform from an upright high chair into a low-slung play table and chair set, demonstrating thoughtful and space-saving design from its era.
Overall, the chair is in a condition consistent with its age and history, retaining its structural integrity and original components. The wooden surfaces have developed a characterful patina over time, speaking to its past use and longevity. This piece is a testament to the durable and practical children's furniture of the mid-20th century.
As a high chair, it provides an elevated seat for mealtimes. When converted, it becomes a charming activity station suitable for a playroom or living area. Its vintage aesthetic would complement interiors with Scandinavian, retro, or eclectic design themes.
