Een zeldzame, grootformaat eettafel uitgevoerd in een karakteristiek 'slatted' (latten) ontwerp. Dit object is een superieur voorbeeld van de Brutalistische stroming binnen het Nederlands en Scandinavisch modernisme, waarbij de focus ligt op eerlijk materiaalgebruik en zichtbare constructieve esthetiek.
Het royale tafelblad van 250 cm is volledig vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig massief eikenhout. De planken zijn verbonden door middel van ambachtelijke, doorgaande pen-en-gatverbindingen op de kopse kanten. Deze open constructie is technisch superieur en vormt het centrale visuele kenmerk van het object. De robuuste, rechthoekige onderbouw in combinatie met het lineaire blad geeft de tafel een tijdloze, sculpturale uitstraling.
