French contemporary ceramic lamp by Renzo Maar. Dimensions : . Material : ceramic (white stoneware) and oxydes, brass ; signed. Made from clay, this lamp-sculpture looks something like a flower, a boat’s funnel or a nest : in any case, it's a shape that wants to make you dream. It is painted with pigments in reference to abstract expressionism, reminding particulary of colors used by Cy Twombly. This piece is available immediately but custom orders are also possible (please note that each piece is hand-made in France and unique, dimensions and finishes may vary). Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer working with materials such as stoneware, plaster and metal. Passionate by the works of historical artists and designers like Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin, Jean Royère and François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, he combines minimalist shapes and pure colors to design mirrors, lamps and furniture.
