The Marenco 255 is one of Arflex’s most recognisable designs and embodies the soft sculptural language that defined the best of Italian nineteen seventies furniture. This model balances an inviting, cloudlike silhouette with a clean architectural presence that fits effortlessly into minimalist, contemporary and eclectic interiors.
Finished in original black leather & displaying a refined natural sheen without any visible signs of use. The oversized seat and back modules lock seamlessly into each other and create the iconic padded volumes that have made the Marenco a design classic. The leather shows a gentle, natural wrinkling that highlights the quality of the material.
Comfort is generous and enveloping thanks to the individually constructed modules built around a solid internal metal structure with multi density foam. This makes the Marenco not only striking in form but also exceptionally comfortable for daily use. The sofa is a recent production and remains in perfect condition throughout, with leather and structure feeling as new.
Considered a modern Italian design icon, the Marenco pairs effortlessly with travertine, glass, warm woods and minimal architectural spaces. Its sculptural character turns it into a statement piece in both contemporary and vintage oriented interiors.
