Introducing a stunning set of 3 original "Noce" lamps, designed by the visionary master Achille Castiglioni for Flos in 1972. This set embodies the pinnacle of Italian industrial design, merging robust engineering with a minimalist, sculptural form that is as functional as it is beautiful.
The Noce lamp is one of Castiglioni’s most celebrated creations, showcasing his genius for elevated utilitarianism. Built with a heavy die-cast aluminum base and a thick, highly tactile pressed glass diffuser, its design was inspired by the simple, protective form of a nut. This robustness allows for remarkable versatility, as the Noce can be spectacularly utilized as a wall sconce, a ceiling flush mount, or even a unique, durable floor lamp.
When illuminated, this version of the Noce lamp produces a compelling, architectural light. The structured glass beautifully refracts the internal light sources, creating dynamic patterns and highlighting the intricate internal components.
