Spectacular large Venetian style Hollywood Regency Mirror hand made in Spain in the 1950's - 1960's.
A unique mid century modern piece with an outer border of golden amber iridescent glass panels surrounding an array of mosaic glass among a large central mirror, this all cased into a brass structure on a wooden frame. The mirrored panels are adorned by brass flowers and classical patterns.
The colored glass has a cloudy, marbled texture creating an atmospheric cloudy landscape.
This rounded square wall mirror will be perfect in a contemporary or classical ambiance. Could elegantly fit an entrance, bathroom, dressing room, hallway, bedroom, become a centerpiece in a living room, etc. Also gorgeous as a console mirror. It could be placed in a horizontal or vertical position.
In very good cosmetic condition especially considering it's age. Some minor signs of wear visible. Light patina to the gilt brass. Some spots of slight oxidation to the brass nails.
An additional wooden backplate has been added to guarantee enough support.
