An exquisite and highly collectible mid-century modern brutalist stoneware (stengods) solifleur vase, designed by the celebrated Swedish ceramist Elsi Bourelius (Borelius) for Jie Gantofta during the 1970s.This is the sought-after medium-sized variant, expertly proportioned for high-end interior styling, bookshelf layouts, or minimalist mantelpiece displays. The vase is crafted from dense, heavy stoneware with a beautiful unglazed, tactile dark-grey/charcoal matte finish.The body is adorned with elegant, hand-incised brutalist geometric patterns and tribal concentric circles that capture the light beautifully
Designed with a narrow 2 cm top opening, it functions perfectly as a solifleur (bud vase), ideal for hosting a single architectural stem, dried pampas, or eucalyptus branches to enhance a Japandi, Brutalist, or Mid-Century Modern ambiance.
